Sunflower export is breaking records in Ukraine
Ukraine in the second half of 2020 and throughout 2021 exported about 148.900 tons of raw materials for the production of sunflower oil, while earning $49.8 million. This is almost 80% more than the 2020 system.
Ukroliyaprom said that growth in the period from 2019 to 2020 increased by almost 11 times.
The main buyers of raw materials for the production of sunflower oil are the states that are parted of the European Union. From the harvest obtained in 2020, European states purchased more than 114.000 tons of seeds, and the growth of exports from Ukraine increased 10.6 times.
Bulgaria this marketing year has become a leader in the import of sunflower raw materials. Its volume imported to Bulgaria has increased 250 times compared to all previous marketing years. The total amount of raw materials imported to Bulgaria was 101.900 tons worth 33.218 million dollars.
