The processing of sunflower demonstratеs the record showings
Sunflower processing speed does not match current record harvest. Nevertheless, large and medium Ukrainian enterprises produced the record volumes of sunflower oil for the first three months since the beginning of the 2018/19 season, are the best results for this period. Analysts at UkrAgroConsulting claim that 14,727,000 tons have already been produced, while last season it was 1,336,000 tons of oil.
Statistics for November of this year shows that this month large and medium manufacturers produced 5,175,000 tons of sunflower oil. This is almost 3% less than in the previous one – 5,334,000 tons. But this figure is 8% more than the results for November of the previous year – 4,785,000 tons.
To assess the possibilities of the season 2018/19, UkrAgroConsult makes no changes in the estimates of the productiil. At the moment, sunflower oil prices in Ukraine remain stable.
