Vegetable oil in Ukraine produced by a third less
In the first half of the year, 338.530 tons of refined sunflower oil were produced in Ukraine. Such data was announced by the State Statistics Service in Ukraine.
From January to June of this year, sunflower oil was produced in quantities that are much less than in the same reporting period last year, namely by 31.2%.
The price of refined sunflower oil in Ukraine has increased.
Taking into account June 21, 55.090 tons of refined sunflower oil were produced. This figure is 31.9% lower than in 20.
Due to the decline in production, oil reserves have significantly decreased. According to the State Statistics Service, at the end of the fifth month of 2021 there were 24 and a half thousand tons, and at the end of the sixth month of this year – only 21020 tons.
Ukrainian producers produced 588.600 tons of refined sunflower oil in the period September 2020 – May 2021. “Dnepropetrovsk Oil Extraction Plant” is the leader in production during this period. This company is part of the structure of “Bunge Ukraine” and has a market share of 19.6%.
